Slight change of plans on the show last night - rather than make it a full hour of disappointing metal, just the first block of songs were "Bands that have let us down"
That way we can stretch it out over a month or more.
This week's "Bands that have let us down":
Church of Misery - Awesome band, every album. However THEY JUST CANCELLED THEIR AUSTRALIAN TOUR!!! MASSIVE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!
Carcass - They changed from being a world-class grind band to a melodeath band. Still one of the better bands of that genre, but the grind days were so much better!
Iron Maiden - While their first 7 albums were all really good, from there on the good songs were few and far between.
Slayer - Once Lombardo left, Slayer just lost their awesomeness. Aside from losing such an awesome drummer, they started to change their style. Still unquestionably Slayer, but vastly inferior to the likes of Reign In Blood, Show No Mercy, or even South Of Heaven.

Next time on Infernal Noize...

This week will have a bit of a theme to it - Bands who have let us down.
We'll be playing music from bands who are/were great, but then did/released something that was a real let-down
